International Cooperation

Southwest Jiaotong University-Emei is committed to international joint education. We have formulated a series of cooperative education programs with many colleges and universities, research and educational institutions, including Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences of Germany, University of Science and Technology of Norway, George Mason University of the United States, University of Leeds of the United Kingdom, International Union of Railways and International Education Services of Australia. “Chinesisch-Deutsches Forum” also received us an observer.

SWJTU-Emei is a staunch supporter for teachers to go abroad for further study and communication. We welcome international visiting scholars and experts. Students on our campus are by all means encouraged to participate in international cooperation and exchange programs of different levels. A case in point is students of Emei come out in front during the candidate selection of Sino-French 4+4 Joint Education Program. Meanwhile, a large number of students take part in the Sino-American Talent Cultivation Program every year. Besides, we have also set up Sino-German 4+2, 2+3 exchange programs.

Looking into the future, Emei is dedicated to the establishment of International Cooperative Education Base, and sincerely looks forward to forging a close tie with both domestic and overseas colleges and universities, research and educational institutions, in a wish to enhance communication, realize mutual benefits and achieve win-win outcomes.
